Once you’ve added a data plan and installed holiday.com’s eSIM on your device, your data connection should be automatically established upon arrival in your destination country as long as your data roaming is on.
Here’s how to toggle on data roaming for your device:
iPhone
Go to Settings > Cellular or Mobile Service. Under SIMs, tap holiday.com’s eSIM and ensure Turn On This Line is toggled ON. Toggle ON Data Roaming.
Samsung
Go to Connections > Mobile networks, then toggle ON Data roaming.
Google Pixel
Go to Settings and look for the holiday.com eSIM. Toggle ON Roaming.
You should see LTE/4G/5G in your device’s signal status, indicating that your data connection is successful.
Your data carrier and other environmental factors may affect how long it takes for your device to connect. If you’re still experiencing difficulty connecting to the internet after 15 minutes, please get in touch with Support.
